The Altrincham branch of Greggs has been slammed by angry customers who have been left outraged at the news that their new vegan sausage roll range contains no traces of locally sourced vegans.
The Altrincham branch of Greggs has faced an angry backlash from customers when it was revealed that their new vegan sausage rolls had absolutely no traces of locally sourced vegans at all.
Carnage when list of ingredients revealed
One eyewitness reported chaotic scenes when an irate customer demanded to see a list of ingredients for the new vegan sausage roll following a debate with his friend whilst waiting in the queue.
“It was absolute carnage. I could hear them arguing about actual local vegan content in the sausage roll and when they couldn’t find anything about it on Google one stormed to the front of the queue and asked the guy behind the counter for a list of ingredients. When he realised there were no traces of local vegan in them at all he totally lost his shit. I thought everyone knew they only use vegans transported from Bulgaria”.
A Greggs customer service assistant who didn’t want to be named confirmed the news saying, “We’re used of dealing with the daily dumb arses of society, but since the launch of the new vegan sausage roll complaints about complete bullshit have more than trebled”.
